Materials Handler - Onsite
Description:
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
Read mechanical drawings and assemble components per drawing
Inspect pre built assemblies per drawing
Repair tool kit assemblies and components as required
Lifts heavy items and may operate various material handling devices (i.
e.
forklift).
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Familiarity with bar coding and automation tools desired.
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Mechanical aptitude
Working knowledge of hand tools and test equipment such as multimeters
Fork lift operation experience (preferred)
Typical Education and
Experience:
Associates Degree or equivalent 2 - 5 years of related experience.
Shift time :
9AM-5PM
.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
